We believe that marriage is a symbol of God’s deep love for us. More than anything, we have prayed that others would experience God’s presence in a tangible way through our marriage. Our hope is to embody the values of family, community, service and worship in a way that expresses both Lini’s US and South Indian heritage and Jonathan’s US and Latino cultural roots.

About Lini: Lini was born and raised in Pasa-get down-dena (a suburb of Houston) to Christian Indian immigrant parents. She did undergraduate studies at the University of Houston and received her M.Ed from the University of St. Thomas. She worked in the public school system for almost 13 years, teaching first & fifth grade and as an elementary school counselor. She loves children and is passionate about serving in under-resourced schools and communities.

About Jonathan: Jonathan was born in Perú as a child of missionaries. His childhood was then spent in Chile and Panama with furloughs in Kentucky. He did undergraduate and graduate studies in Christian Formation and Intercultural Studies at Wheaton College in the Chicagoland area where he spent the next years working in the Latino community before moving to Austin in December of 2021. He is an ordained priest with the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) and currently serves at Church of the Cross in Austin and with the Diaspora Network, seeking to bring together and encourage immigrant churches and leaders.
